Telecom Engineering Consultants, Inc. (TEC) utilizes state-of-the-art technology for all Telejustice Applications offered by the company, including Inmate Video Visitation, Video Arraignment, Video Consultation (PD Offices) and many more. The Video Visitation system is based on VUGate’s SuperHub Series video communication system. The SuperHub and related products from VUGate are sold and installed in Government, Education, Medical and Business environments all over the world. The VUGate system and all of the other products, including TVs, monitors and cameras are commercial products available on the open market.
The VUGate system is the “de facto” industry standard for video visitation with more installations than any other visitation system in the US. The SuperHub is the most sophisticated audio/video switch of its kind in the industry. No other audio/video management system on the market has the features and capabilities of the SuperHub. Based on inputs from County Jails and Court Systems all over the US, VUGate has developed software applications and firmware for VUGate interfaces that specifically address the needs of a video visitation and video arraignment environment. Corrections departments and all related Judicial entities will benefit from these additional features because they affect key functionality essential to the video visitation process and provide the platform for easy integration of related judicial and correctional applications. Clients can easily expand this system to accommodate these other applications allowing the client to realize additional cost savings in operations and improved safety for the community and employees within the Sheriff’s department.
